Rotarian Accomplishments in our Community

• Built Rotary Pavilion at Carl Albert Park
• Downtown wheelchair ramps
• Reflectors marking fire hydrants for Fire Department
• Scholarships at SOSU
• Donations to SOSU Aviation Department
• Donations to High School Debate team
• Built Pavilion at local cemetery
• Donated to SOSU for restoration of Native American Art
• Send two High School students each summer to RYLA program (a leadership camp)
• Purchased uniforms for little league baseball program
• Rotarians are on a regular cycle to deliver Meals on Wheels quarterly & serve at Families Feeding Families monthly
• Rotary delivers free dictionaries to all third graders in the county yearly
• Provided, along with the City of Durant, a golf cart for the disabled at the new Durant Sports Park
• Donated to “ New Hope House for Women”
• Annual contributor to Bryan County United Way
• Donate  to Rotary Foundation for the eradication of Polio 
• Donated to Meals on Wheels
• Donated to Three Valley Museum
• Purchased a “Shelter Box” for those left without a home because of a natural disaster
• Purchased water filters for citizens in Thailand
• Provided funds for a Nurse to study abroad 
• Funds provided to establish a Rotaract Club at SOSU
• Rocket park, Rotary purchased the “Rocket” and other play ground equipment at the park
